“Parents do not have a constitutional right to home school their children”

That's from Justice H. Walter Croskey in California (pdf is here). Michelle Malkin is all over it. And now I'm really hoping the Navy doesn't send us to San Diego.

UPDATE: Someone in the comments of Michelle Malkin's post brings up a really good point:
Now, if “a woman’s right to choose” is construed to be a Constitutional right, how can her “right” to educate her children at home not be? Am I missing something?
That's a really good question!

UPDATE 2: Jonah Goldberg linked to this news on his Liberal Fascism blog. Appropriate place for such news, isn't it?
